Partnership Update: Miss America Organization
As of December 31, 2020, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals will no longer be in partnership with the Miss America Organization. The Miss America Organization will go in a different direction with its fundraising. This partnership termination includes the national relationship with Miss America’s Outstanding Teen. The Miss America Organization will be announcing the change to its system on July 2, 2020.
In 2021 and beyond, local hospitals are encouraged to maintain existing relationships with titleholders and other Miss America Organization contacts. Titleholders may still choose to support CMN Hospitals using the online fundraising tool built into CMNHospitals.org. Hospitals may also work with contacts to fundraise through local events and competitions. If you choose to do so, please work with your Program Director to report any local funds raised through EZPMR.
CMN Hospitals is grateful for the support from the Miss America Organization over the last 30 years. Since 2007, Miss America has raised over $20 million for scholarships and children’s hospitals across the country and made a tremendous impact on local kids. Thank you for strategy, stewardship and engagement coming from your hospital staff in support of this partnership.
More information and details will be made available for Program Directors on Mission Control. Please reach out to Nick Ward (nward@cmnhospitals.org) at for any additional information or with questions.
