Message from the Chair of CMN Hospitals Board of Trustees
Dear CMN Partners,
On Saturday morning, February 1, John Lauck, our President and CEO, was involved in a serious bike accident and was airlifted to the hospital. He is in critical but stable condition and is being treated for a broken hip and other injuries and is currently in a medically- induced coma to assist in his recovery. At the moment we expect he will be away from work for a number of weeks as he recovers from his injuries.
John is receiving excellent care. We encourage everyone to keep him and his family in your thoughts and pray for a quick recovery. We shall provide updates as we learn more. We appreciate all you do for the kids we serve.
Stay well everybody,
Nana Mensah

May God bless John Lauck with a steady and strong recovery and grace for his family to be strengthened to endure. CHRISTUS Southeast Texas Health System will be keeping him in prayer.
Appreciate your kind words. I’ll make sure they are shared with John.
Hey John,
I wish you a healthful recovery so you can get back to doing what you do best–leading the charge to help children get well! Laying in bed isn’t fun after the first few days, but this time off is not only important for your body to heal, but you will also be recharged. Blessings to you and your family.

Thank you, Caryl. We’ll pass your message on to John and his family.
