Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida Joins CMN Hospitals
Recently, Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital (located in St. Petersburg, Florida) announced the formation of a relationship with Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida (located in Fort Myers) to expand specialized pediatric care across Florida’s west coast. As part of this announcement, Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital will transfer their Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals fundraising territory in five counties to Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida effective January 1, 2020. With this transfer, Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida will become a new member of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and the aforementioned counties will be combined to create a new CMN Hospitals market within the Southeast Area called “Fort Myers/Naples”.
As one of the founding members of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital and their CMN Hospitals team have been instrumental in developing and growing their valued partnerships across the west coast of Florida. We are confident that Golisano Children’s Hospital will do a wonderful job building upon the strong foundation that is already in place with their fundraising partners and programs for years to come.

The partnership between these two hospitals has been in the works for several years prior to the recently released Market Alignment Process. As previously stated HERE, CMN Hospitals is not accepting new hospitals into the network.
