Changes to Casey’s 2020 Campaign
Casey’s General Stores has recently launched a new marketing strategy centered around the tagline “Here For Good”, replacing their historical focus around “Famous For Pizza”. Their brand goals are to make a positive difference in the lives of customers and Casey’s team members within their local communities. Casey’s is re-evaluating their corporate giving strategy to best align with these new marketing objectives. They want to ensure they are providing relevant and meaningful philanthropic and community engagement opportunities for both their customers and Casey’s team members, reinforcing that Casey’s truly is “Here For Good”.
Casey’s anticipates finalizing their new corporate giving strategy by February 2020. While CMN Hospitals will still be considered for future partnership opportunities, what those campaigns might be when then they would take place is undetermined at this time. Their annual campaign, which we had anticipated to take place during it’s normal time frame of February 2020, is on hold. If they do decide to continue with support for CMN Hospitals, a fundraising opportunity would take place later in 2020.
Casey’s is proud of their partnership with CMN Hospitals since 2014 and the impact they’ve made for local kids and families. They are committed to making a difference for their communities, which we know they achieve through their support for local children’s hospitals. Casey’s has been transparent with us in explaining their road map ahead, and we’ve assured them that we understand their need to realign their marketing and corporate giving strategies. We look forward to the possibility of continued partnership in 2020 and will be in communication with Casey’s in early 2020 to hear the outcomes and results of their re-evaluation.
