CMN Hospital’s Innovation Team Update – Miracle Field Day

At the end of every school year, elementary schools across the U.S. get ready for their action-packed field day. This spring, two Greenville, South Carolina elementary schools dedicated their field days to the kids receiving treatment at their local CMN Hospital. Through their participation in the first ever Miracle Field Day programs, the students at Stone and Blythe Academies were able to raise over $5,500 for the kids at Greenville Children’s Hospital. Miracle Field Day is an opportunity for elementary schools to use their field day to raise funds and awareness for the kids at their local CMN Hospital. In the days leading up to field day, our friends from Boosterthon spent the school day teaching the students about the kids in their community receiving treatment at Greenville Children’s, showing them what they could do to help, and getting them pumped for the best field day yet! After the success of the first year of this program, CMN Hospital’s Innovation Team is spending the summer working with Boosterthon to figure out what tweaks can be made to help these elementary students raise even more in year two!

If you have questions about Miracle Field Day or the Boosterthon partnership, or would like to know more about how the Innovation Team is testing the latest and greatest ways to raise funds and awareness for your hospitals, please email Innovation manager, Natalie Weston, at nweston@cmnhospitals.org.
