2018 Miracle Treat Day – August 2
On Miracle Treat Day, Thursday, August 2, participating US Dairy Queen® locations in will come together to raise funds for local children’s hospitals. With $1 or more from every Blizzard Treat sold at participating locations will be donated to the local CMN Hospital.
Since 1984, the Dairy Queen system has raised more than $134 million for the CMN Hospitals through fundraising efforts including Miracle Treat Day, the Miracle Balloon campaign and other local initiatives. In 2017, Dairy Queen raised almost $2 million on Miracle Treat Day.
Did you know that all Miracle Treat Day Blizzard Treat donations are directly from the owner’s pocket? Unlike most CMN Hospital campaigns these donations are not customer driven. And, for many markets, these owners would classify as a major donor to their local CMN hospital. In 2017, the largest check from one owner for Miracle Treat Day was over $100,000. Again, those funds are all from their profit shares not one penny of that was from a customer.
Join us in helping DQ and DQ owners know their donations make a difference and their efforts do not go unnoticed by helping us celebrate Miracle Treat Day. Use #MiracleTreatDay on social media and invite others to join in by visiting a participating DQ location on Thursday, August 2 and help kids get back to being kids.
