CMN Hospitals recently hosted their annual Dance Marathon Leadership Conference, July 13 – 15, 2018 at the JW Marriott in Indianapolis, IN. Dance Marathon Leadership Conference (DMLC) provides students, campus advisors and member hospital representatives the opportunity to network, learn best practices that have led to Miracle Network Dance Marathon successes and spend the weekend together planning for the coming year.

Objectives for those attending DMLC are:

• Gain an understand of best practices and industry standards in peer-to-peer fundraising
• Develop effective strategies to raise funds and generate awareness for their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital
• Expand their personal connection to a larger cause and reconfirm their commitment to help local kids
• Develop professionally through public speaking opportunities, interaction with CMN Hospitals’ corporate partners and other industry leaders, as well as various networking opportunities. This year we welcomed over 950 conference attendees, making this conference the second largest hosted by CMN Hospitals. Student attendees represented 190 of the 350 collegiate Dance Marathon programs and hospital attendees represented 57 different markets. Dance Marathon programs who come to DMLC on average raise 10% more than those programs who do not attend.
