John Lauck Website Challenge Standings as of 11/30/17

Dear Colleagues,

Thank you to everyone who has participated in the year-end website contest! The contest runs until December 31, 2017, you still have time.  We’ve seen hundreds of posts uploaded during the contest period. If the contest were to end today, it looks like I would be headed to:

Cottage Children’s Medical Center – Santa Barbara, CA

Geisinger Janet Weis Children’s Hospital – Danville, PA

Children’s of Alabama – Birmingham, AL

Click here to view the leaderboard to check on the status of who is in the lead.

There have been so many great posts, I can’t share them all, but some of my favorites below…

Keep up the great work. I can’t wait to see the rest of your posts through the rest of the year.

Thanks for your continued partnerships and dedication to the kids.

Hi Everyone –

It was a great pleasure seeing most of you last week at Fall Business Meeting. Thank you to all that made the trip, and we missed those that could not be with us. On Friday, October 6, I made a challenge to the network and again want to encourage everyone’s participation.

Here’s the challenge: Post as many stories as you can on your CMNHospitals.org hospital page between October 9 and December 31.

What do you win? I will visit the top three hospital markets (1 small,1 medium and 1 large) that post the most during the contest period for an event/meeting/kickoff in 2018!

A few content ideas:

  • Walmart campaign: feature stores, associates, and/or general campaign information
  • Miracle kid features: highlight the story of a pediatric patient being treated at your hospital
  • Funds in action: showcase how funds raised are used in your hospital
  • General hospital information: share what is happening at your foundation/hospital
  • Other partner/program recognition: give recognition to other partners or programs including campaign totals and upcoming events
    • Example:  Visit your local Ace Hardware retailers and encourage them to participate in the winter Round Up campaign running Nov. 24-Dec. 25

I am looking forward to seeing all the great stories. Also, let me clarify, if I have not yet made it to your local market for my visit with your team, this does not replace that visit.

Thanks,

John
