Rite Aid Foundation Awards $2.8M in Health Equity Grants
The Rite Aid Foundation awarded $2.8M in Health Equity Grants to 34 member hospitals. In alignment with the Rite Aid Foundation’s focus on the health and wellness of its local communities, with a special emphasis on the intersection of health disparities and racial inequities, the grants are focused on food access programs at children’s hospitals.
The Rite Aid Foundation views this as a funding opportunity for a community impact program. Their goal is to work together to impact neighborhoods and support areas that hospitals have already identified as priorities. This is a first-year pilot program and we are working closely with the Rite Aid Foundation to explore future opportunities.
Congratulations to the hospitals that received funding from the Rite Aid Foundation!
