One of our convenience store partners, Speedway, announced in a press release on Monday, April 16 that an agreement has been signed to acquire 78 Express Mart locations, primarily in the Upstate NY area. The closing of the agreement is anticipated in toward the end of the third quarter, 2018. Upon the closing of the agreement, the stores will be re-branded and integrated into the Speedway network. As such, these stores will begin fundraising for CMN Hospitals once they have made the transition.

It is anticipated that CMN Hospital markets Syracuse, Rochester and Buffalo may benefit from this acquisition. If the acquired locations can on-board at the $1,500 store average of current East locations, they will raise an additional $117,000.
