Kids Can’t Wait is a common phrase often heard throughout our network of hospitals, partners, programs and staff. It helps affirm the need for giving as a phrase used across our communication channels, marketing materials and beyond. And today, this phrase seems to resonate now more than ever.

The past 18 months have reminded us that as a society, we’re deeply connected. And our success is based on the ability to lean on each other in times of need.

When is there a greater need? We’ve seen the recent stories about emergency departments and intensive care units stretched past their limits with fewer medical staff to care for the sickest patients. On top of treating kids with COVID-19, children’s hospitals continue to care for everything from broken bones to cancer, and all the moments in between.
