Staples Locations to Accept PPE Donations for CMN Hospitals
In response to the ongoing and rapidly developing COVID-19 crisis, Staples is stepping up to partner with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals to collect personal protective equipment (PPE) for our member hospitals in the United States. Beginning Friday, April 3, donations of new, unused, unopened personal protective equipment such as N95 respirator face masks, disposable face masks, face-shields, eye protective wear, isolation or surgical gowns can be dropped off at participating Staples locations in the United States.
Staples is in 118 CMN Hospitals markets across the country. A full list of locations will be available on Mission Control in the coming days. You can work with your Program Director to access this if you can’t access Mission Control. Or reach out to the CMN help desk at cmnhelpdesk@cmnhospitals.org.
DETAILS
Staples will ship donations to local hospitals, at the address each hospital provides. CMN Hospitals is working with Staples to develop signage, a website and a donation page so that their customers can also make monetary donations to our hospitals. CMN Hospitals and Staples will share more about the initiative on social channels, and sample social media posts will be available on Mission Control.
SAFETY GUIDELINES
Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and Staples are committed to following the safety guidelines outlined by federal, state, and local authorities. Customers should follow appropriate social distancing and other public health guidelines when dropping off PPE donations. Visit http://cdc.gov/coronavirus for more information. Only unused PPE donations can be accepted. Donations can be dropped off only at participating, open Staples locations. Please visit Staples.com for store openings and hours.
PARTNERSHIP OUTLOOK
At the moment, Staples is partnering with CMN Hospitals in response to the COVID-19 crisis. Although the primary activation is collecting PPE, there is a donation option that is part of the website (cmnh.co/staples), which will be live on Friday, April 3, 2020. After this crisis response activation, CMN Hospitals hopes to cultivate this relationship and explore long-term partnership opportunities.
We also acknowledge that this is a fast activation and a different campaign than normal. In these unprecedented times, we are thankful to companies like Staples for stepping up to help meet immediate needs for supplies and funding felt by children’s hospitals due to COVID-19. We appreciate your support and effort to bring this activation to life. We hope it will lead to help your hospital and community need in this time and future possibilities.
