Walmart/Sam’s Club Campaign to Pause for One Week, Beginning Sept. 15
Starting Saturday, September 15, the Walmart and Sam’s Club campaign will be paused for seven days, resuming on Sept. 22. This pause will allow Walmart to focus efforts on raising funds for hurricane relief in the wake of Hurricane Florence.
Stores and clubs have been asked by Walmart and Sam’s Club to keep all their CMN Hospitals signs up, but the companies will provide additional materials to promote hurricane relief efforts.
We have seen tremendous momentum for the campaign so far, with fundraising being up over last year at this time. We are confident this momentum will continue once the campaign resumes.
Once additional information is available, it will be communicated to Program Directors by your local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals area vice president.
