Stripes Not Hosting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Fundraising Campaign in 2018
7-Eleven purchased Stripes and Sunoco convenience stores earlier this year. As a result of the merger, Stripes will not be fundraising for Children’s Miracle Hospitals in 2018. APlus (previously referred to as Sunoco) will host a fundraising campaign from September 5 through October 2 for 30 hospitals on the east coast this year.
The change on the Stripes campaign will affect the following markets/hospitals:
- Corpus Christi – Driscoll Children’s Hospital
- San Antonio – Children’s Hospital of San Antonio
- Houston – Texas Children’s Hospital
- Lubbock – UMC Children’s Hospital
- Odessa-Midland – Medical Center Health System Foundation
- Waco-Temple-Bryan – Baylor Scott & White McLane Children’s Medical Center
- San Angelo – Shannon Medical Center
- Austin – Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas
- Abilene-Sweetwater – Hendrick Children’s Hospital
- Oklahoma City – Children’s Hospital Foundation
- Albuquerque-Santa Fe – UNM Children’s Hospital
- Amarillo – Harrington Cancer and Health Foundation
- Wichita Falls – United Regional Health Care System
- Worth – Cook Children’s Medical Center
- Tyler-Longview – CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System
- Lake Charles – CHRISTUS St. Patrick Hospital
- Beaumont-Port Arthur – CHRISTUS Southeast Texas St. Elizabeth
We are continuing conversations with 7-Eleven about a larger partnership and continuing the Stripes campaign in 2019.
