Welcome to the CDO Hub!

Welcome to the new CDO Hub. The Hub is a result of the CDO Advisory Committee’s commitment to improve communication with hospital leadership, as stated in the committee Charter established May 3, 2016.  Following your feedback from the past two CDO Summits and the two week Hub test period in April, the committee is pleased to reveal this new communication tool.  Here are a few key reasons behind the format change:

  1. Timelier communication. With the new CDO Hub, information can and will be updated at any time – allowing us to share up-to-the-minute news with you.
  2. Streamlined content. The CDO Hub will contain all the information you, a CDO or leader, may need in one place. Until now, your information has been scattered and segmented. It’s our goal for the CDO Hub to fix that.
  3. It’s in response to your feedback. You have asked for fewer emails and more streamlined communication, and the CDO Hub is the response to this request.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Will my CMN Staff be able to access the CDO Hub?
    • Yes. There are no restrictions to who can access the Hub.
  • Will I be notified of content posted to the CDO Hub?
    • Yes, beginning June 28th, and every two weeks thereafter, you will be notified of new posts made to the CDO Hub via email.
  • How do I navigate the blog?
    • You can navigate the Hub by category. Each category is available at the top header of the blog as well as in each section in the middle of the blog. These categories are the same and contain the same content.
  • How do I access Essentials?
    • Essentials can be accessed at any time via Mission Control. Simply click on the Apps tab and scroll down to Essentials.
  • Can I post articles to the CDO Hub?
    • If you have an article you would like posted, such as a job opening, best practice, etc., please send your information to Stephanie Gosdis (sgosdis@cmnhospitals.org) and it will be posted within 24 hours.
  • Who do I contact if I have questions?
    • Contact Shirley Rogers, Senior Vice President, Hospital Relations (srogers@cmnhospitals.org) with any questions or feedback regarding the CDO Hub.

As Jennifer Gillivan, President IWK Foundation and Vice Chair of the CDO Advisory Committee, stated during the Spring CDO Summit, the CDO Hub is the first step to better communication. Your help is needed and your feedback is necessary to help meet your needs. If you have suggestions on improvements, please don’t hesitate to share.
